Prerona is an NGO in Bangladesh working in agriculture development, women empowerment and skill development and projects which includes creating high value chain for farmers and their families, connecting retailers in digital platform and Skill Development and Job Opportunities for Women. Their goal and vision supports The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with three major projects.

Prerona is committed to work for the farmers’ sustainability by helping them to choose the right crop and enable them to have a guaranteed profit for their agricultural investment (by creating a value chain for HVC). Prerona also aspires to empower the farm women by providing training on skill development and current demand-supply knowledge on the appropriate handicraft commodities.

The second project is about connecting individual’s medical concerns digitally with a set of health-related services that involves health/medical database, health insurance, life insurance, hospitalization facilities, emergency healthcare support etc.

The primary beneficiary of this project are the retailers and their families

Aspiration is to reach more beneficiaries of the health-related digital service through the beneficiary retailers who will also get remuneration for increasing equity.

Through third project Prerona will provide opportunities for skill development based on the individual’s potential, current demand and local trend as well as create female entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, rural health-workers, teachers/trainers, and many more to cater with the time demand.

The artwork depicts the aspects of the projects of Prerona maintaining the color scheme of SDG design guidelines.
