Nikunja Park

A mural designed at Nikunja Park commemorating the countless lives that contributed to the emergence of Bangladesh as an independent nation. The panoramic illustration represents the sequential progress starting from the language movement of 1952, followed by the procession of 6 step movement and ultimately leading up to the war of independence in 1971. The mural is composed of white and grey mosaic pieces collaged to form the silhouettes of the nation’s leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the common people that followed his dream of an independent state.
