Mithaiwala Stories

Mithaiwala is a popular brand in Bangladesh serving an exciting array of Bengali sweets from traditional sweets to fusions and experimentations. Warm, loving and quirky are the words that best describe the traditional sweets of Bangladesh. Inspired by the tales of classic Bengal folklores, the story of Mithaiwala is the driving narrative that shapes the concept and thus, the sweet delights.

The objective was to design the characters of Mithaipara and to illustrate a series of exciting stories based on their day to day lives. Each story is presented through vibrant illustrations that conclude with a valuable message to be remembered. Other than the story books, the illustrations were also used in collectibles and other products.
